It is normal after something terrible happens to need help! After what happened, you might be having nightmares, thoughts about what happened coming to your mind even when you don't want it to, or feeling like you are back at the time when the bad thing happened even when you're not there. It could also be that it happened a long time ago and you were able to deal with it for awhile but you have reached a point where that is not working anymore for you or maybe your child.
My Background and Approach
Trauma has a way of invading our brains and bodies. I am here to help with that and would be honored to listen to what is happening with you. Together, we will work to create goals that accomplish what you want to see happen so maybe that’s sleeping through the night or being able to go about your day without thinking about what happened.
