About My Clients
Clients I work with are adults (20-100), and primarily older adults (50+) regarding adjustment to and learning to cope with loss, changes and other challenges in their lives resulting in stress, grief, depression and anxiety.
My Background and Approach
I am a trauma-informed, licensed, independent clinical social worker that has been practicing for almost twenty years serving those in elder care, hospice and palliative care settings. I provide individual and family counseling, facilitate grief and caregiver support groups, as well as provide trainings for healthcare groups and educational systems. I also provide clinical supervision to social work associates. In my individual and group work I look to meet the client where they are, understand their history and concerns, and develop an individualized approach that draws on a variety of research and theories to provide them supportive interventions that will best meet their needs and help them to reach their counseling and life goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a social worker, my mission is linked to that of my profession which is rooted in our core values.
