About My Clients

I work with couples, individuals, and pre-teens (ages 10–13) who want to better understand themselves and their relationships. Many feel stuck in repeating patterns, struggling with communication, or navigating anxiety, school stress, or relationship challenges. My clients are often thoughtful and growth-oriented, and ready to slow things down, reflect on their experiences, and begin creating healthier ways of connecting and communicating in their lives and relationships.

My Background and Approach

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate trained to work with individuals, couples, and families. This means I look not only at individual experiences but also at patterns within relationships and family dynamics. My approach draws from therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. In practice, we may explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another, as well as the beliefs and stories we carry about ourselves and our relationships. By slowing things down and creating space for reflection, clients can gain insight, communicate more clearly, and develop healthier ways of relating. When working with pre-teens (ages 10–13), I create a supportive and low-pressure environment where they can express themselves comfortably. I often incorporate conversation, games, or creative activities to help young clients share their experiences and build confidence in understanding and communicating their emotions.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported in their journey toward growth and healing. Our relationships, families, and life experiences shape who we are, and meaningful change often begins with curiosity, compassion, and a willingness to better understand ourselves and one another. I value creating an inclusive space where people of all backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures feel welcome. I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, respectful, and grounded in genuine human connection. I’m especially passionate about helping people build healthier relationships with themselves and others, and I believe that small shifts in understanding and communication can create meaningful change over time.
