When someone takes that first brave step into Dr. Baum's office, it is an exciting moment, a better future has begun. Over 30+ years in practice Dr. Baum has helped all types of people. He has found that people are both incredibly unique and also share many of the same challenges and fears. You will explore your; bad dreams, fears of loss, religious conflict, addictions, relationships, career aspirations and life dreams. When you are ready, you will plot a path to living your best life.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Baum is a licensed psychologist, with a graduate degree from Columbia University and a PhD in Clinical Psychology. With over 30 years of experience, he has developed holistic techniques to help people more quickly, and more permanently identify and address their issues. His approach will be exploratory and directive, meaning he is available to help you solve your problems and provide instruction when needed. He is dedicated to helping clients realize that they are capable of healing and personal improvement and are able to fully enjoy their personal and professional lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Dr. Baum believes that everyone has a unique voice, passion, joy and special place in the world. Personal crisis is a time where people's shells can break, allowing light in past their ego. He is confident you can conquer any personal issues and find your best self at any life stage. Dr. Baum was raised in a traditional background. Through his personal and professional experiences and relationships he has evolved to become extremely open to all types of life choices. He believes many different paths can lead people to a life of personal fulfillment.
