My Background and Approach
My theoretical approach favors Cognitive Behavioral Theory; however, I believe in pulling from many successful techniques (humanistic, strategic, psycho-dynamic, and solution focused) in an eclectic and integrated approach to therapy. Therapist flexibility is a valuable tool in helping my clients gain a balanced perspective on the life issues they are facing. I view therapy as a collaborative, sharing experience and seek to help my clients feel safe, comfortable, and truly understood.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist in Orange County, I consider it an absolute privilege to work with individuals, couples and families, who are experiencing intense challenges in their lives. One of my life philosophies is to be a learner for life. This has served me well In therapy, as I bring years of study and thousands of hours of face to face therapy experience.
