Whether you are dealing with an ongoing emotional challenge ( depression, anxiety) or a singular life event, I seek to create a safe space that encourages honesty, healing and empowerment on your journey to becoming your best self. Choosing therapy can be a very scary experience , but so is the thing that you have been facing in your life. My Background and Approach
After working for over 12 years in mental health I have developed a strong sensitivity to the importance of culture and other environmental factors to the healing process. As a clinician, I believe that although we have similar experiences, we are all unique. With that in mind, my approach to therapy involves customizing my knowledge and skillset as I learn more about you and your needs to give you the best chance at achieving your best self no matter the issue you face. I most often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Approaches and Acceptance and Commitment Techniques. These combined approaches allow you to authentically express emotions, provide opportunities to create change and experience a degree of control over your response to the world around you.
