About My Clients
My clients may be navigating anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, academic or career pressures, or burnout. I work with people across the lifespan, with a special focus on children, adolescents, and families. I also support high school and graduate students, educators, and families who may feel overwhelmed by expectations, changing roles, or the challenge of balancing their well-being with the demands of everyday life.
My Background and Approach
My approach is culturally responsive, client-centered, and holistic. I recognize that identity, culture, relationships, and lived experiences shape our well-being. I integrate evidence-based cognitive, behavioral, and emotion-focused therapies while building on your unique strengths, values, and goals. I strive to create an inclusive, affirming space where you feel heard and supported as you deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. Before earning my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Houston, I earned a Master of Education in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin and spent over 15 years in education, focusing on health, wellness, and social-emotional learning. This experience continues to shape how I support young people, adults, and families through life’s challenges.
