About My Clients
Are you afraid that an anxiety attack is waiting around the corner? Have you been struggling wi more times than you can count? I know exactly what you're feeling: the pounding chest, the sadness, the mixed emotions, the feeling that the walls are closing in and you need out NOW. Attacks can be terrifying, and I don't want you to have to suffer them anymore. Mindfulness and CBT practices can reduce both tremendously, and I look forward to teaching you tools to take your life back.
My Background and Approach
I have over ten years of experience in Social Work. My background consists of experience in child abuse and neglect and in private practice as a mental health therapist. My goal as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker is to communicate and build rapport with children, adults, and families so they can function, participate and develop in their environments. My approach is a combination of cognitive-behavioral theory, client centered, solution focused, and motivational interviewing that is tailored to meet your specific needs. My counseling style is interactive, warm, and client paced with the goal of providing a safe place where clients feel they can discuss their problems without judgment. Life can be overwhelming, scary, and difficult. I will be here to support you every step of the way and assist you in overcoming any obstacles you face.
