About My Clients
I work with women (18+) experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, body image concerns, and life transitions. Many of my clients are used to being strong for others while feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected inside. Stress often shows up as constant worry, fatigue, or self-doubt. I support women of color who want to feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in both emotional and body-based healing. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, psychoeducation, and somatic techniques to help clients understand their patterns, regulate their nervous systems, and build practical coping tools they can use in daily life. Rather than rushing to “fix” things, we slow down and create space to explore what your emotions and body are communicating, without judgment or pressure. Together, we work toward reducing anxiety and depression, strengthening self-esteem, and developing a healthier relationship with your body and emotions. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and better equipped to navigate life with clarity and self-compassion.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you don’t have to minimize your experiences or explain your cultural background. I value authenticity, self-compassion, and honoring how identity, culture, and lived experiences impact mental health. I am especially passionate about supporting women of color and individuals who have spent much of their lives prioritizing others over themselves. Healing begins when people feel seen, safe, and understood. I strive to create a therapeutic space rooted in respect, curiosity, and empowerment, where you can reconnect with yourself, build trust in your emotions, and move through life with greater confidence and balance.
