Jodee Magcalas Gossett (she/her)

I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT98694) and have been working in the mental health field for over 8 years. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Communications & Public Relations with a minor in Sociology at California State University, Long Beach. I later completed my graduate coursework at National University where I attained a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. I have extensive training and experience in Attachment –Based Therapy, Psychodynamic, Family Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I work within a strength-based therapeutic framework that incorporates mindfulness, humanistic, multicultural, and emotionally focused elements.

Mindful Restoration is a place of acceptance, healing and self-discovery. Sometimes life stressors can be too much to handle alone and we need help working through them. Jodee Magcalas Gossett is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who is passionate about creating a safe and unique experience to help you heal from the emotional pain and discover new strengths and possibilities within yourself that will enable you to create more intimate and trusting relationships. Together we will create a safe and sacred space for you to be your true authentic self, share your deepest pain, and emerge stronger and live a more satisfying life. I provide a holistic psychotherapy approach by incorporating the mind, body, and spirit. I have witnessed first hand the healing and peace that therapy can offer, and would be honored to take that journey with you.
