About My Clients
I work with women, mothers, and adults who feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or weighed down by trauma. Many of my clients are tired of being strong all the time, struggling to regulate emotions, or healing from difficult experiences that still live in their bodies. Together, we move gently, build safety, and help you reconnect with yourself.
My Background and Approach
I am a National Certified Counselor and TEMP LPC-MHSP in Tennessee with specialized training in trauma-informed, mind–body approaches. My background includes working with women, mothers, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, overwhelm, and identity changes. I draw from Brainspotting, somatic work, parts/IFS-informed therapy, and attachment-focused care. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and paced so your nervous system feels safe. Instead of forcing “coping skills,” we slow down, listen to what your body and emotions are communicating, and build steadiness from the inside out. My goal is to help you feel understood, less overwhelmed, and more connected to yourself, while offering practical support you can carry into daily life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a place of safety, dignity, and honoring each person’s lived experience. I value compassion, curiosity, social justice, and trauma-informed care that recognizes how systems, relationships, and experiences shape our nervous systems and sense of self. I care deeply about accessible mental health support and believe no one should suffer in silence because of stigma, finances, or fear. I support inclusive, affirming care for all identities and backgrounds, and I’m committed to creating space where people feel seen, welcomed, and respected. I’m drawn to work that empowers women, mothers, trauma survivors, and anyone who has felt unseen or misunderstood — and I strive to meet each person with warmth, humility, and respect.
