About My Clients
I really enjoy working with a variety of populations and find that my skills tend to be best suited for working with birthing individuals, young adults, teens, new parents, and individuals facing life transitions, or stressors. I also enjoy incorporating the outdoors when I can and offer walk and talk sessions.
My Background and Approach
I utilize a holistic approach, recognizing how an individual's current experience can be impacted by a variety of influences. I hope to foster an environment of safety, where clients can express and share their story. I find that mindfulness, IFS, CBT and relational approaches can help give clients much needed skills to gain clarity, heal and feel more grounded to face life's ongoing challenges. I am also trained in EMDR and Internal Family Systems to help clients work through past childhood trauma or other specific life events. I am a certified perinatal mental health specialist and have specialized training in working with issues surrounding pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum depression and anxiety.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an avid outdoors woman and hope to incorporate nature more and more in the work that I do. I have always had a passion for supporting people in building confidence through outdoor adventure and hope to start adding outdoor wellness groups into my practice.
