ACT is great when it comes to making changes. This technique has been proven to help with anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, etc. I enjoy ACT because it focuses on mindfulness and the importance of values.
This is by far my favorite therapy technique. I have received a lot of training and learned a lot about this technique in graduate school. This technique fits me because the main goal is to not judge and to understand thoughts and feelings.

We have all loss someone important to us, I have found clients benefit from being provided validation and creating a healthy routine to help cope with grief. Clients also benefit from being provided psychoeducation regarding grief.
