Accepting Clients

Hi! My name is Jay (she/her), and I'm a biracial Asian counselor and music therapist practicing in my hometown of sunny Orlando, FL.

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Orlando, FL

About My Clients

Have you experienced trauma and/or grief, and feel like you've lost yourself and your voice along the way? Are patterns in your mental health becoming noticeable? Are you recognizing how past experiences limit you, and how childhood events still affect you? I believe in putting the needs of my clients first, and enjoy working together to build a firm foundation that allows us to dive deeper. I strive to create environments of safety, trust, and play to help cultivate and develop your strengths.

My Background and Approach

My main goal is to help clients reclaim their voice, whether it was lost or stolen. Your voice matters so much, and it deserves to be heard. Using a combination of various counseling approaches and music psychotherapy, I believe you can find your voice, become reacquainted with it, and reclaim your power. I have over 2 years of experience working with kids and adults with ADHD, trauma experiences, and grief. I spent my first internship working in a domestic violence shelter, and spent the next two years after working in a small community mental health setting, primarily getting referrals from DCF. I use a multi-lens approach that combines humanism, holistic theories, trauma-informed principles, and existentialism. I believe in putting the needs of my clients first, and aim to meet you where you're at. Every session you walk through the door, you might have different needs to address, and that's okay! Our sessions will be spent focused on you, & the ways you can begin to heal & grow.
