About My Clients
Maybe the world is not built for a brain that works like yours. Maybe your child struggles to learn and socialize at a school where they think differently from others. Maybe the thoughts and emotions are too much to handle alone right now. Maybe you feel like your child just needs someone to hear them, meet them where they are, accept who they are, and celebrate their growth. Maybe you need that. If any of these statements resonate with you, I might be the therapist for you.
My Background and Approach
Whether you prefer play-based approaches, traditional talk therapy, or more structured therapy like EMDR, I am here to support your needs. I specialize in child and adolescent therapy, but I enjoy applying similar dynamic and creative approaches to working with teens and young adults. I have been trained in a range of modalities with a strong focus on play therapy. As a neurodivergent therapist, I deeply understand that every single brain works differently, so I am here to help you build tools that work for YOU. I have extensive experience supporting young people with a range of exceptionalities, including ADHD, Autism, and Developmental Delays, in navigating school and life. I also often work with those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Together, we will explore everyday challenges and develop skills to cope with them.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I began my career providing therapy in a high-need public school setting. I am committed to lifelong learning, trauma-informed care, and advocating for children with exceptionalities. I am deeply committed to rooting my work in racial justice and queer liberation. I believe in the right to dignity and empathy for all people.
