About My Clients
I am a dynamic and creative therapist who enjoys working with clients who want therapy to be a little more active than just sitting and talking. I have many years of experience working with adolescents as well as adults, and enjoy working with those struggling with panic attacks, depression, anxiety, or trauma. I also enjoy working with families of all shapes and sizes to help them come together and develop better patterns of interacting with each other.
My Background and Approach
I strive to help people identify the stories they hold that cause suffering or limitation and rewrite those narratives to reflect freedom, new information, and allow for choices that reflect their values. I approach my work with energy, creativity, and always a touch of humor. I’m passionate about equine and talk therapy because I’ve experienced firsthand the healing power of horses and creating meaningful connections through building a therapeutic relationship. I received my masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University in 2020, and have been working with youth and families in the Duvall/Carnation area since then. I have completed the Fundamentals of Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy with Natural Lifemanship, as well as Level One training in Lifespan Integration, a trauma processing modality. I also have training and experience with skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) & Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT).
