About My Clients
I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, trauma, Autism Spectrum Disorder, cultural/relationship issues and life transitions. I work well with adult clients who are motivated, curious and are open to challenging ineffective thoughts or behaviors that no longer serve them.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic style is eclectic with an emphasis on cognitive and dialectical behavior therapies and mindfulness. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); I utilize EMDR to help clients heal from symptoms and emotional distress resulting from trauma and adverse events. My approach is based on understanding that each client is unique and will receive the most benefit from treatment that is tailored to their needs. Together, we will discuss what works best for you and set realistic and attainable goals.

I believe we all deserve to be heard and seen. I also believe we have the ability to heal, change and grow, despite all the challenges we have encountered. Therefore, I view therapy as a collaborative process that stems from a safe, caring and authentic relationship that allow you to explore your feelings and thoughts without feeling judged. I have a genuine interest in hearing your story, empowering and supporting you in achieving the life you would like to live.
