About My Clients
At ActivHealing Treatment Center, we serve individuals who are ready to actively engage in their healing journey. Many of our clients are veterans, active duty service members, first responders, and survivors of complex trauma who are navigating the emotional impact of high-stress roles, difficult life transitions, or unresolved past experiences. Our clients often seek support for PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, identity concerns, and relationship challenges.
My Background and Approach
ActivHealing Treatment Center was founded on the belief that healing is an active, embodied process—one that requires safety, structure, and compassionate connection. With roots in trauma-informed care and integrative mental health, our approach combines the best of evidence-based therapy and experiential healing. We draw from modalities like Brainspotting, EMDR, CBT, and DBT, while also incorporating yoga, music therapy, mindfulness, and movement to support the mind-body connection. Our programs are built for individuals navigating trauma, emotional dysregulation, and life transitions—especially veterans, first responders, and survivors of chronic stress.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As the founder of ActivHealing Treatment Center, I believe that healing is not passive—it’s intentional, relational, and deeply personal. I believe that trauma lives in the body as much as the mind, and true healing happens when both are supported in a safe, structured environment. I believe that people are not defined by their pain or diagnoses. Every individual holds the potential for growth, connection, and purpose—regardless of where they’ve been. I see therapy as a space for rebuilding trust, identity, and agency. I also believe in meeting people where they are, with compassion, honesty, and respect. At ActivHealing, we walk alongside our clients—not as experts with all the answers, but as fellow humans committed to the work of transformation and repair.
