My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Social Worker that graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with my Master’s degree. I have specialized training in helping couples and families through the use of Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and the Gottman Method. I assist individuals to find the positive in their life by working on the way the brain processes information through the use of CBT Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. By finding their inner strength through Strength Base Therapy, and by making the most of their own life journey by making positive change through Motivational Interviewing. I have experience helping navigate Individuals, couples, and families through grief and loss with compassion through the use of Kubler and Ross’s stages of grief. During the last two years of my work experience as a Medical Hospice Social Worker, I have helped many understand the end of their life journey and help their families navigate through this journey with them.
