Therapy is a belief system and involves an interest and curiosity of self and of other in understanding patterns of attachment, relationships and growth of personhood. The early attachments often define and regulate how we experience others in intimate and everyday relating . Understanding these experiences, from a place of compassion, and learning how to re-regulate & identify defense styles that worked at an earlier time , and now are blocking new ways of coping and are no longer fitting for adult relationships .
