About My Clients
My clients are all unique and require careful consideration and listening when discussing their needs and goals. They want to be heard and they need a well-seasoned professional to assist them in clearly defining what has brought them to seek therapy and what direction they see themselves headed in. Some people know exactly why they came and what they want, and some people have an intuition that something is "not quite right" in their lives and need a therapist to help them sort it out. It's ok.
My Background and Approach
I am trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities which include; CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), Gestalt Therapy, and Psychoanalysis. I am skilled at assessment and diagnosis. My specialties- Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Substance Abuse Disorders, Trauma, Eating Disorders & Career Difficulties.
