About My Clients
I work with a diversity of people facilitating therapeutic space for for military service members, veterans, and their families; foster children & youth in transitional housing, and immigrants and refugee communities. I value connecting with each individual to learn what inspires them and using that to spark healing in a collaborative journey toward healing trauma and attachment.
My Background and Approach
Having an MA degree in Art Therapy from Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling, Jo brings a compassionate, client-centered, strengths-based approach to her therapeutic work that honors the complex emotional and psychological experiences of those she works with. She is currently pursuing professional credentialing and continuing clinical development under supervision.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a military wife and mom to 4, I understand the unique challenges military families face—frequent transitions, deployments, reintegration, and the invisible wounds of service—and I'm honored to walk alongside service members, veterans, and their families in their healing journeys. My work is grounded in respect, empathy, and a commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can process your experiences, develop self-identity, and build resilience.
