About My Clients
I offer comprehensive psychological assessments and evidenced based treatment through telehealth. If your child is struggling behaviorally or academically or if you are looking for diagnostic clarification, I can help. Or if you are a parent looking to enhance your skills as a parent to help your children maximize their fulfillment in life, I can help you make a difference.
My Background and Approach
I have over 15 years experiencing working in mental health. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the state of Hawaii. I have additional training and experience working with Telehealth. I enjoy using a variety of therapeutic approaches during treatment to maximize benefits of therapy. I am passionate about psychological assessments and testing. I am a strong believer in using assessments to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. I am also a mother of 2 and personally understand the struggles of trying to juggle being a good parent to my children as well as my personal and career goals. I am am also a veteran. I served in Iraq in 2004-2005 as a medic. I served a total of 11 years in the military and an additional 6 years working at the VA with veterans.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that life is wonderful. I understand that there are always challenges and it can seem very difficult at times. I also understand that there are things that can be done to help push through the difficult times. I am passionate about enjoying life and living it to the fullest. I want my children as well as all children to learn to enjoy life and overcome the challenges that they face. I feel that there is often a lack of scientific approach utilized in the field of psychology. I am passionate about using assessments and treatments that have been researched across multiple studies and found to be effective.
