About My Clients

I work with kids, teens, families, and people who feel different, overwhelmed, or misunderstood. If you are neurodiverse, LGBTQIA2S+, managing multiple diagnoses, or burned out from caregiving or working in healthcare or mental health, we will likely connect. I also specialize in helping the helper, offering support that honors your full complexity and creates space for you to reflect, reset, and reconnect with what matters to you.

My Background and Approach

I am a relational therapist who values authenticity, trust, and collaboration. Research shows that the strength of the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important indicators of meaningful change. No matter what methods or approaches we use, progress depends on whether we can connect in a way that feels real and safe. That is why I am intentional about being inclusive and affirming from the very first interaction. Whether it is how I introduce myself, the language I use, or the way I respond when something does not land right, every choice signals how seriously I take your comfort and dignity. These things are not extras. They are the groundwork for building trust. I create a space where you do not have to explain the basics of who you are or act like you are doing better than you are. I do not have all the answers, and I do not pretend to. But I will be present, I will listen, I will stay curious, and I will keep centering what matters most to you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe therapy should be collaborative, honest, and rooted in real connection. I am here to help people improve quality of life, not to fix anyone. I have experienced trauma, discrimination, and loneliness. For a long time, I tried to blend in, even when it hurt. Now I lead with compassion, clarity, and care for those who feel unseen or overwhelmed. Most people are doing the best they can with what they have. My ethics guide every part of my practice. I don’t believe in one size fits all therapy. The work we do together is shaped by your values, needs, and experience. I bring a background in social justice, disability advocacy, and an anti-oppressive perspective. I stay informed by research and lived experience, and meet people with both skill and humanity. I am someone you can ask the hard questions. I am direct, curious, and not easily shocked. I also go to therapy because I believe in it. Asking for help is brave, and I believe that people grow when they are supported, not judged
