About My Clients

I work best with teens and adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck and are ready to explore healing in a different way. Many of my clients are navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship struggles, sexual concerns, or the effects of difficult experiences such as sexual assault, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, or complex trauma. I also support individuals healing from painful family dynamics, challenging parent relationships, and experiences that have impacted their sense o

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Professional Art Therapist (LPAT) and Board-Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) with a Master’s degree in Counseling and Personnel Services with a focus in Art Therapy from the University of Louisville. My background combines clinical mental health training with a lifelong passion for creativity and the healing power of artistic expression. I utilize a trauma-informed approach and incorporate evidence-based practices, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to support clients in exploring emotions, building self-awareness, and developing meaningful coping strategies. I believe therapy does not have to look one specific way, and art can provide an alternative path for processing experiences that may feel difficult to express through words alone. My clinical work focuses on supporting teens and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, family dynamics, and emotional experiences that impact their sense of self.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every person deserves to feel heard, valued, and accepted for who they are. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is compassionate, inclusive, and free from judgment, where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace. My work is rooted in the belief that healing is not a linear process and that each person has unique strengths, resilience, and wisdom within themselves. I value authenticity, creativity, and the importance of creating a safe environment where difficult emotions and experiences can be explored with care. I am passionate about supporting survivors of trauma, individuals navigating challenging relationships and life transitions, and those who have felt disconnected from themselves or their stories. I believe creativity can be a powerful tool for self-expression, empowerment, and reconnecting with parts of us that may feel lost or unheard.
