My Background and Approach
My goal is to provide a comfortable, safe and supportive space where you can feel comfortable expressing your thoughts and feelings related to current concerns and/or chronic conditions. I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative one where we'll work together to develop a plan tailored to your specific needs and desires. I provide an integrative and holistic approach rooted in several tested and proven techniques. My specialty areas include: anxiety, depression, stress management, life transitions, trauma and relationships concerns.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
One of my favorite quotes is: "What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us" by Ralph Waldo Emerson. This quote reflects my belief that everyone has the inner strength and capacity to grow and fully embrace life in an authentic and meaningful way. At times, it can become difficult to move through challenges on our own and we all can benefit from working with a trained mental health provider. I value and celebrate diversity and support the unique needs of diverse populations in a culturally competent, affirming and empowering manner.
