My Background and Approach
I utilize a range of modern psychological theories such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and family systems therapy, as well as draw from my own diverse personal experiences in order to assist you. Together we can explore and deconstruct what is causing ongoing distress in your life, identify how to increase wellness, and facilitate insight and change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a first generation openly gay, Christian, and Korean American psychotherapist, I specialize in working with people who identify with traditionally marginalized and oppressed groups such as LGBTQ, racial and cultural minorities. I also have unique insight into the Asian American experience.
