About My Clients
My clients are adults who have experienced accidental, interpersonal or social trauma. They are seeking to manage their reactions to trauma, develop new coping skills, and heal their traumatic injuries.
My Background and Approach
I have studied the mind-body connection for thirty years. I do value mental health diagnosis. Instead I think about what has happened to my client and their people, and wonder what they need in order to heal. Much of my approach is helping clients recognize their inner resources and organize them in a way they can use them effectively.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I came of age during the sixties and seventies, so I am strongly influenced by the human liberation struggles of that era. I continue to strive to grow as a mindful awakening person. Being a cis white man, this will be a life long journey.
