About My Clients

Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable people who feel stuck despite doing everything "right." They may be struggling with anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, relationship challenges, or a major life transition like divorce, pregnancy, or new parenthood. Together, we work to quiet self-doubt, navigate uncertainty with greater confidence, and build a life that feels authentic and aligned with what matters most.

My Background and Approach

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based treatment. I believe therapy should be both supportive and practical—helping you better understand what's keeping you stuck while building skills you can use in everyday life. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring treatment to your unique goals and needs. Before becoming a therapist, I practiced law for ten years, and my own experience navigating a major career transition deepened my appreciation for the uncertainty that often accompanies growth and change. Today, I help clients build the confidence, flexibility, and self-trust to navigate life's challenges in ways that feel authentic and aligned with their values.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I don't believe the goal of therapy is to eliminate anxiety, uncertainty, or difficult emotions. Those are part of being human. Instead, I believe therapy can help you change your relationship with those experiences so they no longer dictate your choices or keep you from living the life you want. I see therapy as a collaborative partnership. You bring your lived experience; I bring clinical expertise and evidence-based strategies. Together, we'll find an approach that fits you and helps you build greater self-trust, resilience, and psychological flexibility. I also believe growth doesn't require perfection. It requires curiosity, courage, and a willingness to try something different. My hope is that therapy leaves you feeling more confident in your ability to navigate whatever comes next.
