About My Clients
I have 14 years experience working with individuals and families. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, self esteem, major life changes, or parenting challenges I may be a good fit for you. I practice a person centered approach where we can explore your history, thoughts and feeling without judgement. I believe in connecting on a human level; in building trust through listening, deep understanding, and sometimes humor.
My Background and Approach
Together, we will identify and challenge the things holding you back and then practice healthier ways to communicate, resolve conflicts, and foster healthier connections.Certified in play therapy, I have an in depth understanding of child development and parent/child relationships, as well as how our past can impact and shape us. I believe we are all trying the best we can; but sometimes can't see what needs to change in our lives or really where to start.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe all good therapist have been through their own challenges. Having struggled yourself gives you a better perspective on how difficult things can get sometime, how challenging it may be to get out of a negative patterns. Especially if those patterns were taught to you or started in childhood.
