About My Clients
I work with adults, couples, new mothers, young adults, and teens who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of where to begin. Many of my clients are navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship stress, postpartum changes, identity exploration, grief, life transitions, or the lasting effects of painful experiences. You do not need to have the right words before starting. Together, we can create space to understand what you are carrying and move toward healing.
My Background and Approach
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in meeting you where you are. As a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, I use creativity as a way to help clients access emotions and experiences that may feel difficult to express through words alone. Art therapy is not about artistic skill; it is about reflection, expression, and creating new ways to understand yourself. I am also trained in EMDR and integrate trauma-informed techniques to support clients working through painful memories, anxiety, relationship stress, postpartum changes, and life transitions. As a Latina therapist, I bring a culturally attuned lens to our work and honor the ways identity, family systems, culture, and lived experience shape healing. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore patterns, strengthen boundaries, build self-esteem, and reconnect with your own voice at a pace that feels manageable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people heal best when they feel safe, respected, and accepted as they are. My work is guided by compassion, creativity, curiosity, and the belief that every person’s story deserves to be understood without judgment. As a Latina therapist, I value the ways culture, family, identity, and lived experience shape how we move through the world. I strive to create a space that feels affirming and supportive for people from diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ clients, new mothers, couples, young adults, and those healing from trauma or major life transitions. I also believe creativity can help us access parts of ourselves that words alone may not reach. Therapy is not about having everything figured out. It is about having a place to begin.
