DBT is a skills based curriculum founded on the core beliefs of mindfulness and understanding our thoughts to limit harmful behaviors, thinking and/or unhealthy relationships. I have completed extensive coursework and real-time utilization of DBT in my practice. We can incorporate portions or more regimented versions of this technique in our work together.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a treatment modality used to work through trauma memories, experiences and/or distorted views of self. I may present this modality after we have established a positive working relationship and trust. This process can be emotionally challenging and life changing.

Tuning into your 5 senses, body responses, and your breath can provide volumes of awareness and understanding to managing emotional stress and reactions. No individual is too young to learn body and mindfulness awareness. Not to be confused with meditation, mindfulness can be incorporated into daily life activities.
