About My Clients

You’ve done meaningful work. You understand your patterns, your history, even the systems around you, but something still isn’t shifting in the way you hoped. You feel caught between insight and change; in the middle of rethinking identity, belief, or belonging without clear steps. Many of my clients are moving beyond systems—religious, relational, or cultural—and are ready for a more focused, integrative approach. Not more information, but support in actually embodying what they already know.

My Background and Approach

My work is grounded in the understanding that insight alone doesn’t create change—your nervous system has to experience something different. I use an integrative, relational approach that draws from somatic therapy, parts work, and acceptance-based practices to support real, embodied shifts. This means we’re not just talking about your patterns—we’re working with how they live in your body, your relationships, and your sense of self. I specialize in working with clients moving beyond high-control systems, where identity, belief, and belonging often need to be rebuilt from the inside out. My role is to offer a focused, attuned space where what you already know can begin to take shape as something you can actually live. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Virginia with over fifteen years of experience supporting trauma recovery and integration.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It is about reclaiming trust in yourself after experiences that taught you to doubt your own voice. Many of the people I work with are untangling from systems marked by fear, shame, or control. Because of that, I value autonomy, consent, and the right to define your own identity, beliefs, and sense of belonging. I don’t believe in one “right” way to heal or grow. My role isn’t to tell you who to be, but to create a space where you can safely explore what feels true for you—and build a life that reflects that. I’m committed to offering an inclusive, affirming space for people across identities and lived experiences, where your full humanity is welcomed.
