In addition to having extensive experience counseling clients going through divorce, I am a Certified Divorce Mediator and can work with clients who want to minimize the cost and stress of their divorce through mediation. Clients who need co-parenting counseling, reunification counseling and family counseling can benefit from working in a non-judgmental and supportive environment to improve communication and develop techniques to work together as a team for the benefit of the entire family.

I have been teaching parenting since 1994 when I was trained to teach the powerful Redirecting Children's Behavior parenting class. I am a sought after speaker and educator and have lead workshops and seminars at many schools, corporations, religious institutions and conferences. My area of expertise is working with individuals, couples and families who are separated or divorced. I provide co-parenting counseling, reunification counseling, family counseling and parenting sessions.

Through my extensive experience working with couples, I am able to help my clients learn how to communicate their experience of upset without replaying the "blame-shame" cycle. Couples participate in a process of healing through increased consciousness, compassion, and behavior change. Relationships are work but with the right guidance, couples can transform their relationship into one of closeness, intimacy and growth.

Families are complicated and many families don't handle conflict well. Addiction, financial stress, illness are some of the issues that can be helped through family counseling. Parents and children learn new ways to communicate and can express themselves in a safe place. Many families can significantly improve their interactions and regain their closeness.
