My Background and Approach
I am the author of "Color, Draw, Collage: Create Your Way to a Less Stressful Life" Skyhorse Publishing 2017. I created this book because I love to help people learn how to control their reactions to stress and come to terms with their chronic illness. Dealing with stress and illness can turn your world upside down. Your mind may be filled with endless questions. Discussing your feelings in a supportive environment can make a difference in creating a healthy attitude. As a therapist in a hospital and cancer center for 12 + years I gained a better understanding of the difficulties that you might be facing. Together we will decide on the types of approaches that work best to help you to reimagine your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a creative person that loves nature and family. I have a hubby, a teenage daughter, a dog and two cats. I love to make things, art, decorating, restoring furniture. I have a background in theater-scenic art and on stage! I am definitely a liberal. I am very spiritual-I meditate and do yoga daily. I practice what I teach. Open minded and accepting of everyone-no judgement here! I just want to help everyone to be their best self!
