About My Clients
You might look like you’re holding it all together on the outside — but inside, you feel anxious, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself. Maybe you’re navigating a life transition, feeling stuck in old patterns, or quietly questioning who you are and what you want. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, untangle what’s weighing on you, and reconnect with your authentic self.
My Background and Approach
I believe healing happens in spaces where you feel genuinely seen, respected, and valued. I trust that you already carry wisdom and strength within you — even if it doesn’t feel accessible right now. Many of the people I work with are navigating life transitions, anxiety, burnout, or a persistent sense of feeling stuck. Together, we explore what’s creating suffering and gently untangle the patterns that keep you disconnected from yourself. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you notice unhelpful thought patterns, respond differently to difficult emotions, and move toward choices that align with your values and the life you want to build. I also incorporate Polyvagal Theory to support nervous system regulation. When stress responses stay “on,” it can feel exhausting and overwhelming. Learning how to understand and complete your stress response can reduce chronic stress and help you feel more grounded and resilient.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a white, cisgender, straight woman, I recognize the ways my identities carry both privilege and limitation. I am deeply committed to social justice and understand that our mental health does not exist outside of the systems we live in. Oppression, inequality, and cultural messages shape our nervous systems, our relationships, and the stories we carry about ourselves. My work is rooted in humility, ongoing learning, and accountability. I strive to create an affirming, inclusive space for people of all races, cultures, genders, sexual orientations, bodies, and belief systems. I welcome feedback and view therapy as a collaborative relationship where your lived experience is honored as expertise. I believe healing is not just personal — it is relational and systemic. You deserve support that sees the full context of your life.
