About My Clients

I work with adults (18+) facing challenges related to anxiety, trauma, identity, and relationship dynamics. I have specialized experience supporting clients recovering from intergenerational family trauma and intimate partner abuse, including emotional, and religious abuse. My work is trauma-informed and deeply collaborative. We’ll clarify your personal values, develop self-compassion, and build tools to help you step into a more authentic and fulfilling life.

My Background and Approach

I'm a licensed clinical counselor, currently in private practice. Previously, I worked in community mental health and domestic violence agencies. My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Trauma-Focused ACT (TF-ACT), with an integrative lens that includes parts work inspired by Internal Family Systems (IFS). These modalities help clients clarify what truly matters to them, build psychological flexibility, and move toward a more meaningful and empowered life—even in the presence of pain or self-doubt. While I am not IFS-certified, I have received training in the model and integrate parts work to help clients better understand and compassionately connect with and harmonize their internal world. Above all, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore, heal, and strengthen your ability to show up authentically—in both your personal relationships and your professional life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My motivation for becoming a therapist comes from a deep curiosity about the human condition—humans are endlessly fascinating, especially those of us who grew up in chaotic or trauma-inducing situations. When our early needs for love, validation, and belonging go unmet, we often carry that pain into adulthood as anxiety, depression, and/or problematic relationship patterns. I identify as a highly sensitive, asexual person, and my own journey toward self-understanding has shaped how I show up for others. I care deeply about social justice, the LGBTQIA+ community, animal welfare, and protecting the environment.
