My Background and Approach
I have worked with many different people with different issues/concerns over the years, and I think therapy looks different for everyone. Sometimes, people just really need to be heard - they need an empathetic listener to be witness to their suffering. Others may need general emotional support and coping strategies to deal with a recent stressor. Some people are going through a crisis and need psycho-education and connection to other resources. And others may need to do some deeper trauma processing so they can reduce panic, end nightmares, and get more connected to their family and friend support systems. If any of these are things you're looking for, I'm here to help! I want to get you back to feeling good again, and not keeping you in therapy a moment longer than you need to be.
