I enjoy working with a variety of individuals and families across the lifespan, including but not limited to children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating barriers associated with trauma, mood disorders, and everyday life challenges. Additionally, a particular area of focus is working with those facing life transitions that include but are not limited to, helping parents and caregivers navigate the challenges of parenting/co-parenting, divorce/separation, and college and career rea
My Background and Approach
In my clinical work, over the years, I strive to create a safe and accepting environment for clients who can be seen and heard for who they are. I practice from a multicultural perspective which allows for the acceptance of diversity and inclusion amongst current and future clients. Additionally, I invite you to collaboratively create goals and outcomes for therapy while also challenging you to learn and grow as it relates to your desired change. I primarily utilize a Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) approach with my clients to bring attention to the integration of a person's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors as they begin to learn more about themselves and navigate life's challenges. Throughout our time together, I strive to maintain a safe and comfortable environment in which everyone is free to be themselves and explore anything knowing that respect, autonomy, and confidentiality are upheld throughout the process.
