About My Clients
The majority of my clients have a history of trauma, often coupled with limited access to necessary services. I have had the privilege of working with individuals in inpatient settings, community mental health, medical environments, and residential treatment programs. My clients include both adults and teens, each bringing unique challenges and resilience to the therapeutic process. The common thread among them is their strength and courage to seek support.
My Background and Approach
My professional background spans various industries, giving me a well-rounded perspective on the challenges faced by both clients and mental health professionals. Since 2017, I’ve worked with LMSWs and other supervisees who provide services across inpatient, community mental health, medical, and residential treatment settings. In supervision, my approach is rooted in supporting each individual’s development rather than molding them to replicate my methods. I believe in fostering growth by encouraging supervisees to find an approach that feels natural and authentic to them. This is key to creating genuine connections with clients and achieving meaningful outcomes.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I firmly believe that authenticity is the cornerstone of effective therapy and supervision. Building genuine connections requires professionals to embrace their unique strengths and perspectives. My role as a supervisor is not to impose my style but to guide others in discovering their own. I also value the power of word-of-mouth referrals, which reflect the trust and relationships I’ve cultivated over the years. Above all, I am committed to fostering a supportive environment where both clients and supervisees feel empowered to grow, learn, and succeed.
