Loss is hard. Healing is hard. Sometimes simply defining what you need is hard. That's where I come in. No one should have to navigate life's challenges alone. Even superheroes have sidekicks! I firmly believe asking for help is the most bad*ss thing you can do and you've already made the first big step by making it here (go you!). I look forward to working together to bring change and healing to your life!
My Background and Approach
To paraphrase artist and author Tori Press- I’m here to help hold your balloon until you feel ready to hold it again yourself. My approach to therapy is person-centered, humanistic, and holistic. While evidence-based practices and theories have merit, ultimately YOU are the expert on your own life. You know what feels right and what doesn’t. Instead of telling you what to do, I aim to provide you with a space where you can feel safe and empowered to define what does and doesn’t work for you. It's also important we work together to figure out what aspects of your life we want to keep, what areas we want to grow, and what parts we’d like to leave behind. I aim to create a supportive and non-judgmental place where we can discuss your challenges, talk through the hard questions, and work collaboratively to find solutions.
