About My Clients
My idea ideal client is someone that is open to working on their issues and giving themselves the opportunity for change. In today's society, times can be challenging, frustrating, and one can have the sense of being alone. Therapy can be daunting, however with the right support and time you don't need to feel alone anymore. The most rewarding thing about therapy is being able to work on yourself and to be the version you have always hoped to be.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey looking to help individuals who need assistance toward their mental health goals. Throughout my social work career I have primarily focused on improving individuals well being which can include depression, anxiety and substance use. I have a variety of experience in the mental health and substance use field that allow me to have insight and knowledge to help my clients through their challenges. My main goals are to help my clients gain insight into their own strengths and to be a positive guide through life's trials and tribulations.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I work with clients through Strength Based Perspective and utilize many therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). My values are centered around helping my clients feel balanced, grounded and feel strengthened with their own abilities.
