About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who feels stuck in their addiction or recovery but is ready to explore change in a space where they can be open and supported. They may be working to rebuild their lives, navigate complicated family relationships, develop healthier coping skills, or rediscover who they are outside of substances. They’re looking for stability, confidence, and a clearer sense of direction. Whether that includes managing cravings, repairing relationships, or restoring trust in themselves.
My Background and Approach
I'm an LCADC with nine years of experience supporting individuals and families in recovery. I bring both clinical and personal experience to my work, and I help clients move toward sustainable change with practical skills, accountability, and a supportive therapeutic relationship. I use ACT, mindfulness, and DBT to help you build awareness, manage emotions, and reconnect with what matters most to you. Sessions are grounded in calm, practical tools you can use right away, and the pace is always shaped by your comfort and goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe strongly in harm reduction, second chances, and treating people with dignity rather than punishment. I’m outspoken about the harm caused by stigma, shame-based treatment, and systems that prioritize compliance over humanity—especially in addiction, mental health, and justice-involved spaces. I support recovery that is individualized, realistic, and grounded in real life, not perfection or moral judgment. I work best with people who are tired of being labeled, controlled, or misunderstood and are looking for a therapist who is honest, direct, and willing to challenge systems that don’t serve them. I am an ally of the LGBTQ2IA+ community, BLM, and a supporter of the MMIW cause. Whoever you are and however you come, if your goal is to find purpose and meaning in a sober life, I'm here for you!
