About My Clients
Are you a teen or new adult trying their best with little to no support? Someone who is finally prioritizing their needs? An individual on the path to healing from attachment trauma? A couple attempting to carefully decide what the next step in the relationship is? I'm here to warmly help you reach your goals, create and build new meaning and skills, and live an elevated life forged through authenticity and awe.
My Background and Approach
My practice is rooted in deep reverence for the human spirit and the transformative power of authentic connection. I am a trauma informed clinician and work from a systemic, strengths based, collaborative, parts focused model. I'm here to support you (and loved ones) unconditionally and hold space in this new chapter towards healing and growth. I welcome all faces and people from all walks of life, celebrating and affirming diversity in its many forms. I will never presume to know what your story has been, but make it my mission to dive into the unknown and explore alongside you as we uncover and untangle your experiences. Our work together will include creating new meaning, forming new effective skills for managing stress and anxiety, building up and encouraging your authentic and compassionate inner voice, and seeking positive shifts that you feel soul deep.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I chose to become a therapist because of my own childhood traumas. People have always fascinated me, and I have always believed that people are (at their core), positioned to be growing towards goodness. But sometimes life doesn't offer us the correct environment or relationships for us to be who we "could" be. I ground myself in attachment science and use a very warm and empathetic approach. I like to make sure all of my clients know that I believe them and believe IN them, as well. More personally, I know how hard it can be to navigate life as a people pleaser or someone who relies on their fawn and, oftentimes, their freeze response. I have spent years reflecting, building my self esteem, and healing from trauma. I am also very passionate about parenting and the parent child relationship because I believe this is the "room" where a lot of trauma begins or can be addressed. Challenging old narratives, norms, and addressing racism/sexism are especially important to me.
