About My Clients
I have treated a large range of ages between 16-80+ and worked with a variety of diagnosis from depression/anxiety to major mental illness, trauma and substance abuse. My approach is direct and client centered.I truly care about my patients’ well-being and enjoy the work that I do. My goal is to help you reach your goals, find ways to express emotions, manage thoughts and feel supported every step of the way.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from Fordham University with my Masters in Social Work in 2014 and have been practicing social work since. I have worked in a variety of settings giving me exposure to various treatment modalities and allowed me to work with a variety of populations. I utilize CBT/DBT techniques within a supportive psychotherapy approach. I speak Portuguese and Spanish.
