About My Clients
I am comfortable having sessions in Spanish and English. I am also human and understand there are many situations that lead us to experience trauma, grief, anxiety, maybe depression. Asking for help can be terrifying, I can relate to those feelings. Taking the first step is courageous and being the expert in your life, I will simply walk alongside you. Take the lead, you may surprise yourself.
My Background and Approach
Previously I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings with a person-centered and goal directed approach, including individuals and groups. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and teenagers. I admire their resiliency, honesty, and creativity they have brought into the counseling room. I enjoy practicing play and art techniques to build rapport and encourage release through creativity.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has a voice that deserves to be heard, even when life experiences have made it difficult to speak or feel understood. Life happens, and while we can’t always control what we go through, we can begin to make intentional choices that support healing and growth. I view therapy as a collaborative space where you can show up as you are—without judgment—and feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. My goal is to cultivate a strong, authentic therapeutic relationship rooted in empathy, respect, and acceptance. I believe in each person’s capacity for resilience and change, and I’m passionate about supporting clients as they reconnect with themselves and move toward a life that feels more aligned and meaningful.
