About My Clients
Reaching out can be scary. If you are anxious, depressed, have panic, or are having problems with focus or sleep, I want you to leave each visit feeling understood, supported, and confident in your path forward. I can also help with symptoms such as fatigue, lack of motivation, overthinking, and emotional regulation, including clients with chronic illnesses.
My Background and Approach
My background as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) allows me to approach care from both a clinical and compassionate perspective. I understand that each person’s story, challenges, and goals are unique. My training in psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and therapy gives me the ability to look at the full picture of a client’s emotional well-being. My approach is centered on creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard and respected. I believe strong mental health care starts with trust and collaboration. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all plan, I work closely with each client to develop treatment strategies that match their needs, values, and lifestyle. This may include therapy, medication management, coping skills, education, and practical tools for everyday life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each one of us is human and worthy of love. I believe that we develop mental health issues due to a variety of reasons, including genetics and the environment we were raised in, along with our current environment. I believe that mental health treatment should be based upon a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management with a thoughtful, individualized perspective. I take time to understand your symptoms, history, and goals so we can create a treatment plan that is both effective and sustainable.
