About My Clients
Welcome, I appreciate your interest. A therapist search may be the first step towards contemplating therapy, which can be a hard decision. Difficulties like worry, fear, isolation, loneliness, and self-doubt, are more common than you think and not a choice. I’m here to provide support, expand self-care, provide strategies to assist with coping, problem-solve around worries, and assist with processing thoughts/feelings, leading to deeper clarification and self-awareness.
My Background and Approach
Often times we start to notice differences in our emotions or behaviors or others can notice differences and let us know. We may notice day-to-day task completion becoming more difficult. We all have ups and downs and challenges, but if things are becoming more difficult, it may be the time to reach out. Through the use of evidence-based therapies, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy, and others, I am able to to pull from different therapies and treatments to assist in addressing an array of difficulties and concerns. Flexibility is important. No judgments, just a safe space.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Every day can provide a new opportunity for growth and change. Learning and practicing new strategies, such as progressive muscle relaxation and behavioral activation, amongst tons of others, can help with anxiety and depression. Practicing strategies can lead to shifts in the way we feel and behave, creating opportunity for growth and change.
