This includes those dealing with the mental health effects of incarceration, as well as individuals facing significant life changes such as starting a family, entering college, or going through a divorce.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) CBT is an evidence-based practice and is highly effective in treating a wide range of issues such as anxiety, depression, OCD, and stress management. Dialectical Behavior (DBT) DBT is an evidence-based practice focused on developing practical tools and skills focused in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. You will learn tools for identifying and managing your emotions, even when they may be challenging to accept. Solution Focused Brief Treatment SFBT is ideal for the client who has a specific issue they would like to resolve. It can be beneficial for the client who is looking to build tools and skills rather than delve into the past. Strength-Based I believe that the goal of therapy is to address the problem by exploring how the issue developed and creating a specific plan to move forward.
