About My Clients
I work with adults and couples who wish to address identity exploration, gender-related stressors, life transitions, identifying and regulating emotions, building self-esteem, relational conflict and communication, grief, perfectionism, anxiety, and depression.
My Background and Approach
I strive to create a space where clients can feel valued and connected. I aim to celebrate and build on the unique strengths each person has while exploring internal and external influences contributing to their current situation and story. I love hearing about people's stories and the multiple directions life can take us. When life does take us in a direction we didn't expect, it often presents an opportunity for us to reconnect with who we are at our core. I love connecting with clients in these moments and seeing the unique nuances, strengths, passions, and quirks that often emerge as a result. I have worked as a therapist since 2018 in both community mental health and private practice settings. Typically I use approaches borrowing from mindfulness, person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and queer and feminist theories.
